Freddo espresso
To make a freddo espresso you need 2 minutes and 18 g of freshly ground FREDDO Espresso: pull a double espresso, whip it with ice and pour it over fresh ice. The double espresso is 60 ml. Whip it with 3 to 4 ice cubes for 10 seconds in a frappé mixer, so it turns cold and the crema forms a dense, pale foam. Then pour it into a tall glass with fresh ice cubes. The fresh cubes matter, because the ice from whipping has already started to melt and would water the coffee down. Add sugar to taste to the hot espresso before whipping, so it dissolves completely. If you have no frappé mixer, use a shaker and shake for the same time. Set out the glass with ice before you pull the espresso, and everything happens in one go. Top it with cold milk foam and it becomes a freddo cappuccino.
