Grind fresh and store well
Grind the beans only when you make your coffee: fine for an espresso machine, a little coarser for a moka pot; a bean-to-cup machine grinds by itself. Keep the bag cool, dry and away from light and close it tightly after opening. The aroma valve lets carbon dioxide out but no air in.
